Welcome
Adam House is a Christian refugee reception centre located in Toronto, Canada. We provide a safe and comfortable home for newly arrived refugee claimants who have chosen, at least temporarily, to settle in the GTA. Our caring staff provide assistance with the immigration and settlement process which can be very difficult to navigate. Since opening in September 2002, Adam House has served 1400* refugee claimants from countries around the world, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. We believe that God has called us to care for the very real needs of newcomers to Canada, and to share the Word of God as we have been called.
Adam House is named in honour and memory of Salah and Shaline Adam, and their children Joshua and Rebecca, who perished when Egypt Air Flight 990 went down on October 31, 1999.

Palm Sunday, March 24, 2013
Praise God with us for two residents, former Muslims, who were baptized on Palm Sunday. The baptisms were witnessed by their churches and by Adam House staff and volunteers who attended.
Christmas Events 2012
There are so many fun events for our residents at Christmas time. We are so grateful to all the people and churches who helped make our residents' first Canadian Christmas so memorable and communicated the real reason for the season.
Saturday, December 8
Grace Community and Maple Leaf Churches provided and served our annual Adam House Christmas Dinner. The meal was delicious. Many former residents attended including two of our first residents from 10 years ago! A very special reunion.
Sunday, December 9
Several residents attended a production of A Christmas Carol at The Peoples Church. Fabulous music and a timeless Christmas message.
Saturday, December 15
The following weekend several residents attended an International Christmas Party with members of The Peoples Church. They had a blast as they enjoyed food, games, and celebrated Christ's birth.
Christmas Day
Pastor Armando, his wife, and another family from Grace Community Church provided a delicious Christmas lunch for the residents and former residents who stopped by. This is Pastor Armando's 7th year spending Christmas at Adam House!
